Shotgun Wielding Taco Bell Customer Needs His Hot Sauce

The shortage of hot sauce in his to-go order got one man so upset that he came back to confront a Taco Bell worker with a shotgun, according to police.
And now the man faces as much as Ten years in prison.
Jeremy W. Combs, 30, of Lee’s Summit, was drunk right before midnight Saturday when he drove to a Lee’s Summit Taco Bell to place an order in the drive-through, based on court documents. He returned when he got home and uncovered his order didn’t have the hot sauce he requested, based on court papers.
The Taco Bell worker said Combs presented with the wrong order to him, “and then reached for a shotgun, which had shells on the side,” based on court documents. The employee said he fled from the drive-through window. He explained Combs seemed intoxicated, based on court records.
Police visited Combs’ home and found him “highly intoxicated,” based on court records. Combs initially denied leaving the home, but eventually said he had taken a tire iron to the Taco Bell, based on court records.
However surveillance video shows him pointing a shotgun at the worker, reported by police.
A loaded shotgun was removed from Combs’ bedroom. He admitted that he purchased the shotgun from a drug house in Independence, as outlined by court records.
Police said Combs possessed three felony convictions. Consequently, Combs was charged in federal court with being a felon in possession of a firearm, in accordance with the U.S. Attorney’s Office. He also faces state charges.
